Doesn't wash properly
Even on the longest wash which is about 4 hours!, Clothes come out stained, and still smell either like before or like soap powder and feel like soap powder or softner. Doesn't rinse properly. Uses barely any water so washing items stain each other and transfer smells. If this was a common issue, I would think a lot more customers would complaint, no?
Below the above review, there is also this golden 1-star review:
Washing machine works well. Pity about the installation and customer service. Buy the machine, but buy it elsewhere!
The Bosch series 6 wash programs are quite confusing. I have both a 7.5kg and 10kg.
Most of the cycles and kg weight wash are the same for example the cotton cycle on both are 5kg and quick cycle is 2kg. There is only a couple of cycles that you can manually program to the max kg cycle and saying that it is not very clear on the machine how to do it.
If you want to use the 10 kg max kg cycle then your wash will be at least 3hrs. If you do 2x 5kg it will only take you 2hrs.
Made in Germany?
Series 6, not a chance.
Designed in Germany, and probably built in a factory in China.
Otherwise, you will never see the above discount price. It would have a price tag like Miele or other Euro made brands.absolute truth!
The China made one usually $600 range:

nearing $1k should be Germany made.
Does this model have the i-DOS function? It doesn't look like it is mentioned anywhere.
Answered my own question.
The logo is there on the detergent drawer. However, not mentioned as a selling point? 🤔
No i-DOS function on this Serie 6 model.
Photos are highly deceptive.
