    • It's the second last image.

300 ANSI lumens is extremely dim.

    • +1

The bulb in my small toilet is 450 lumens.

Maybe they are measured differently? What's the lumens for other projector?

      • +6

Where did you get your illuminated toilet? Japanese?

    • +1

I have a mogo pro which is 300 ANSI.

Honestly I wouldn't call it dim, maybe not suited much for daytime unless you have curtains to block out most of the light, but especially at night time it's completely fine.

    • Yup. Supplying this with a 120" screen is a bit of a laugh.

  • Are there any videos on this? Can't seem to find any reviews. Seems like a good price for native 1080p

  • Don’t forget the small cashback on this at Big W (3%)
    About $4.18 cashback.
Better than a kick in the teeth as they say

  • For any Brisbane ozbargainers here (getting ready for possible lockdown reasons for having this item),
Still available on the Northside of Brisbane at Strathpine and North Lakes.

    • +1

I ordered one for pickup from Strathpine, fully expecting it to be cancelled due to no stock but fingers crossed!

  • EKO is bigw's answer to ANKO?

  • Does anyone own this and is it any good people say the Kmart one on Black Friday was good but others said was crap and very cheap looking

  • Just grabbed the last one @ Mt Gambier store. Seems OOS most other stores.
    Thanks OP

Bought one. Cheaper than taking all my kids, nieces and nephews to the movies for a once off, lower COVID risk and can watch more than one film! Boxing Day sorted with Encanto on Disney+ 🤙🤩🥳

  • Thanks OP ordered one in SA with free delivery. Some outdoor movies coming up for the summer after sunset of course

I paid $189 and definitely worth it. Not sure how big my wall is but id say possibly just over 120". Works fine during the day with blockout curtains. For sub $200 is good, for $139 it's excellent. Projector can do up to 200".
Screen is useless unless using outside and you need something.

    • What do you mean its useless ? Can you not frame it and maybe hang it in the verandah?

  • Anyone know how this stacks up against the BlitzWolf that's popular on here?

  • Just got a shipping confirmation from Big W.

Someone just reported this as out of stock, but around QLD I can see Atherton, 2021 Shi**est town in Australia Townsville, Whitsunday, Rocky, Gladstone, Bundy, Harvey Bay, Gympie and Nambour all have stock.

For anyone in Victoria, plenty at Karingle Big W if you're interested.

    • +1

Thanks for this, just picked one up. There’s still 3 on the shelf at Karingal.
Can’t trust the online stock level!

  • I assume that the free screen is inside box? If so must be folded a million times.

  • 300 ANSI LUMENS is actually not too bad, there was a light source conversation formula, to convert to the Lumens of most of the Amazon advertised projectors, 300 ANSI = 300/0.04 = 7500 Amazon/Light source Lumens.

  • Just got the last one at Eastland, apparently Lilydale still has stock

  • Anyone had theirs delivered that ordered online?

    • Got mine today after absolutely useless tracking number

  • +4

I've added the IR remote codes for this projector to the Broadlink app so you can control it with your phone.
Search for eko or k1080p under the unofficial tab when adding an IR remote for a Projector.

    • What is this for please explain thanks

      • It allows you control the projector from your phone if you have a Broadlink IR blaster.

I bought one of these just based on this post. I have a recent BenQ model which i didn't want the kids to smash up on outdoor movie night

Honestly, I'm so surprised by this for such little money. I tested it tonight, picture is great in a darkened room. Even the speakers work. Don't expect deep bass but very loud and passable for a kids outdoor movie night. Even indoors would look great.

Ive added a pic. For reference, to the left is my 7ft xmas tree and I'm projecting onto the venetians for my patio doors (no screen). The pic here is over 2mtrs high by 3.5mtrs wide.

    https://freeimage.host/i/YcrSxS

Don't set your expectations sky high but for $139. Pretty good oh and there is a bit of fan noise but not unbearable.

    • What are you using as a screen?

      • As per above, that was projected onto the back of my venetian blinds/wall which are both white

  • Got mine, pleasantly surprised , great buy!

  • Does anyone know if the USB charge port on this is able to power a Chromecast with Google TV?

    • I use it to power my Chromecast

  • +1

Special looks to be over and back to $199.

I still see some stores with stock in QLD.

I still think its a bargain at $199. The thing has been brilliant for me.
