Earlybird Easter Special: Chang Beer for $30 PLUS Easter Weekend Voucher before Anyone Else

02
CHANGEASTER10

Here we are again, this time it's double the fun: Winemarket has TWO Easter specials for you!

24x330ml Chang Thai Beer
RRP: $55.99
Site price: $41.99
DISCOUNT PRICE: $30 plus delivery (code: CHANG)
It's the same story as Steellllla.. the best before is almost up and we've got 100 cases to move, so we're offering it below cost. Delivery is $8 for one case, $16 for two, and $20 for three or more. While stocks last. We'll also be giving away a free case of Chang in our Facebook store to the first twenty people to order if that's more of your cup of tea: http://facebook.com/winemarket

$10 Off, All Easter Weekend Long
You're too late to stock up before the bottle-o shut up shop on Good Friday, but make sure you've got something on hand to refill your cupboards after turning to the ancient bottle of creme de menthe at the back of your liquor cabinet in desperation. This offer is dropping to all our email subscribers at noon, but the Easter Bunny is laying down some treats to OzBargain two hours early! Code: EASTER10
T&Cs:
$10 off is per order, not per case. One per customer. Cannot be redeemed on beer. Not redeemable for cash. Not valid with any other offer. Valid Thursday 5th April to midnight Monday 9th April.

How to redeem a voucher:
enter the code into the VOUCHER CODE box during checkout (not the gift certificate box). The discounted amount will show either on the Chang with a strikethrough and the new amount, or off the total (for Easter $10).

How to redeem BOTH offers:
Our shopping cart is monogamous and can only take one code at a time. To redeem both offers, place two separate orders (one for Chang with CHANG voucher code and the other for wine with EASTER10).

Hint for PayPal users:
Log in to your Winemarket account before paying with PayPal and all your orders will go onto the same account, no double-ups!

Beer Best Before:
We're not getting involved in the debate this time. The Best Before date on Chang is the end of APRIL (sorry, got confused about what month it is). This is a 'best before' not an 'expiry date', but if you're one of those people who don't drink your milk after the Use By date perhaps give the Chang a miss.. whatever floats your boat. If you live life a little more vicariously, Winemarket can solemnly swear that we drink beer past its best before all the time on Friday arvos and we're still alive to tell the tale (note: Winemarket.com.au has no medical training and this is not intended as medical advice).

Happy Easter from Winemarket.com.au

  • Best before date for Chang Beer Please?

    • The Best Before date on Chang is the end of March.

      • Sorry - my mistake - Best Before is April.

  • +1

Dan Murphys and BWS sell Chang Beer for $40 but best before date is 2013.For $2 cheaper,no point to buy from you mate!!!Sorry!!!

  • So if I place an order I get it for free or I get two cartons for the price of 1. (If I am within the first 20)

  • "if you're one of those people who don't drink your milk after the Use By date perhaps give the Chang a miss.."

expired dairy is a poor comparison…

    • -1

The point being made is dairy expires hence it has a Use By. Best Before is not a Use By. Beer has a best before.

Was hoping to avoid the same debate that happened with Stella deal, that doesn't seem to have worked.. so let me reiterate: the choice is yours, people have different preferences.

      • Old beer tastes crap

  • BWS usually has this for 40 bucks on a special.

  • +1

Am I the only one having trouble with the Facebook Shop? Buggy as, much rather use the real site but some deals aren't available

    • We're in the process of launching a shiny new Facebook shop which will run on our own backend. The current shop runs on a very basic Facebook app. If you have any issues, post on the Wall and our resident Social Media Guru will sort you out.

      Sorry for the inconvenience..!

  • Lol march ….

    • Argh!! April!! Editing it now. Thanks for pointing that out :)

  • The double up of discounts is not working. Easter10 is not working.

  • I need to chang my wines, I've been having the sames ones for years.

    • quit wining

  • I'm no professional beer drinker but man, If the best before is April then just say its April.
What with all the words explaining that best before is not the expire date bs, from your tone it sounds like you are calling non-out of date drinkers a pussy ? I would take offence to that.

I cant speak for Wine Market as a business, but your sale pitch sounds really dodgy.

from your tone it sounds like you are calling non-out of date drinkers a pussy

I don't get that vibe at all.

    • Not what I meant at all! I'm female. I don't even call cats that word.

A few months ago we posted a deal for Stella at $38. A debate ensued about best before and use by.. which is why it was mentioned here. Even though we have no obligation to, we let you know what the best before is because some people (like thirsty Winemarket employees) don't mind drinking beer which is past its Best Before. Some people do mind. It doesn't matter if you do or if you don't, there's no judgement here. For the avoidance of doubt for those sitting on the fence, strictly speaking Use By is different to Best Before.. that doesn't imply you should or shouldn't drink it, it's just an FYI.

Hope no offence has been caused as none was intended.

Peace, love & rock n' roll,
      Winemarket

  • Wouldn't surprise me that stock management is handled by the social media guru guy!

why take on a likely high volume promo thru that portal without fully testing the shop and then feign ignorance when advised of the problem?

    • actually Wally, we're launching a new Facebook store in the next few weeks because the current shop is a bit unreliable - not a question of 'fully testing' or not. thanks for the business advice though.
