Glenlivet founders reserve is awful
It really is! It wasn't even a buy when it was $45…. The inflation of whisky prices has been ridiculous and way above CPI
Glenlivet 12 is significantly better for entry level and similar price too
Ok so this is how it appeared to me. Founders reserve was created because they ran out of the 12. People realised how good the 12 was and one of the cheapest on the market too. Being from a barrel you can't just make it on a whim so they had to put something on the market quickly.
Which is why founders is a disaster. It's a quickly put together blend with no time to mature.

Also combined with 20x flybuys, can't complain. My cart was $201 for a $171 checkout.
