I received this email from Uber Eats. Not sure if targeted. edit: Appears to be targeted to accounts that already had a Mastercard on file.

Having a Mastercard has never been more rewarding. All eligible Mastercard card holders now get 2 months of Uber Pass for free. All you need to do is sign up and remain an Uber Pass member for at least the first full month.

With your Uber Pass membership you will enjoy $0 Delivery Fees (Service Fee still applies) when you spend $20 and also receive savings on rides!

This offer is available for redemption by you, using an applicable Mastercard card when you remain an Uber Pass member and do not select to cancel your Pass membership before the end of the 1st month of the 2 month free promotional period (“Promotion”). If you cancel your Pass before the end of the 1st month, you will need to rejoin Uber Pass to receive the benefit of the 2nd month. At the end of the Promotion, you authorise Uber to charge you $14.99 (“Monthly Payment”) at the start of your 3rd month (“Your Billing Day”) and each following month on Your Billing Day, using your chosen payment method above, until cancelled.   They have this all over the site .. I had assumed this was replaced by Uber One .. odd.

  To make this work you need to delete all your cards even if they are mastercard then add back the mastercard when requested.

  Also only seems to work from a desktop to setup. Not android app.

  Once it is all setup you can use app to order.

    Thanks Fullprice. Same issue on IOS. Link doesn't work.

    1. Delete all credit cards on uber (not just the mastercard one)
    2. Click on the link in the email on your desktop and add/readd your mastercard

    Thanks for this tip. I couldn't get it to work, came to OzBargain to see if anyone had the same issue, and your comment saved the day.

    Note: I also had PayPal added and had to remove that from my wallet as well as cards before it would work.

  I got this offer, tried to get it applied, but there was a message that said the credit card did not belong to me, then said the offer was applied when it wasn't.

  Looks like its broken.
