I think it's still a great price for a 42 inch Full HD TV and it has got an LG panel, so even better !

Kogan Claims it's the lowest price ever in Australia for a 42" Full HD LED TV

Description :

At only $339, you could buy 2 of our ultra-thin 42" LED TVs with LG Panel and still pay less than the regular price of a 42" LED TV from other well known retailers.* Even the most seasoned bargain hunters will struggle to say no to a deal this good.

Buy one or buy two, the choice is yours, but this offer is strictly limited to 2 per customer, and WHILE STOCKS LAST. Perfect for watching movies or sport, and an impressive screen for Playstation 3 and Xbox, this stylish 42" LED TV has it all:

42" Full HD LG panel
Pause, rewind and record live TV!

Yes, that is a massive time to wait in technology and prices.

      • Agreed, No Bargain, with prices of samsung/toshiba/lg TVs falling the way they are. Plus this is just an LG panel OEM, not even the original brand, expect lower resale value…

        • +1

Who cares about resale value on a $339 tv.

    • so that news with kogan?? hardly!

  • 50hz ?

    • good question, yep - 50/60Hz

  • 8th May dispatch.
    5 - 7 day delivery.
Looking at 14th May 2012 arrival.
    So close to EOFY Sales.

Too long to wait… Vendor is unlikely to order -until- they get enough buy-in's.

If I'm -wrong- then - dear Vendor - come back in 3 weeks.

Negging for the inconveniently -long- wait for product to ship to buyer(s).

  • Sigh not Kogan crap TVs again

  • Looked at the specs and couldn't find the PVR Hard Drive size. Any idea?

    • +1

      its probably a USB PVR

So this is another kogan group buy then?

its only 50hz and considering the deals from brand names lately, I dont find the price that amazing.

  • The email compares this to a toshiba of similar specs. Kogan is not on par with toshiba…

Kogan items should not be allowed to be posted on ozbargain as they do not supply an ABN or tax invoice for sales under $1000. Items are shipped and sold via a hong kong company. If australian customs sees fit you may be charged GST on its entry into Australia, especialy if u buy more than one. Also I waited 4 months for a pre sale tv before Christmas and by the time I got it there were cheaper tvs with a tax receipt around.
