I’ve noticed EBay Plus have gone down the toilet with shipping. I’ve had two sellers not use express shipping despite it being selected at checkout.
This year they gave me free $5 per month but need $50 spend WTF no limit last year

Every eBay Plus transaction for the last 2 months for me, the seller has sent it the cheapest, slowest way possible. I've been waiting 2 and a half weeks for one that was marked express. Tracking activity still happening so it's not lost. Just slow.
Companies think they can get away with it because of the unprecedented parcel volumes this year, and they do.
The eBay model doesn’t work because sellers can’t be trusted. Amazon has the right idea with Prime, requiring sellers to keep their product in Amazon warehouses and having them handle all the shipping.

According to the order confirmation, I was charged $2.50 despite free delivery showing at time of order. Went back and ordered another one same thing.
I got something similar with another order last week. Ebay support told me it was my fault and it said it was charged. Even thoigh it says free. They are just hopeless.
I've seen this many times, I assumed there was something wrong with the way eBay shows the transaction (and that shipping wasn't charged even though it looks like it was).
Are you sure you were charged for shipping (check your credit card / PayPal, not eBay)?

Don’t know, I had a gift card on my account and the tracking of activity on the giftcard is non existent. Never going to buy eBay giftcards again, they must break some laws being so non transparent with giftcard activity
I just checked ebay tracking, and the order has a tracking number but also this message in ebay tracking: "We attempted to pick up the parcel but were unsuccessful."
What gives??
Its likely sendle to blame for this. They are notorious for not picking up parcels on time and flagging it as not ready for pickup.
