By all accounts this movie seems to be pretty average, so save your money for better December blockbusters and watch this in January for a small amount!

Side note, Hawkeye is pretty good so far 🙂

          Well Shang chi was good.. I'm guessing some of the TV series will also work into the overall thing and so far I've liked most of them.. Loki being my favourite out of the bunch… This movie was just bad unfortunately…

          Spiderman and Dr. Strange are now carrying the phase 4 franchise. Shang-Chi was pretty meh even by Asian standards (I.e. If you watched other Tony Leung movies it's miles better written and choreographed than Shang-Chi), the humor was subpar at best feels like a good movie for a 6 year old. I actually prefer Black Panther Origin Story more, there was more action and substance in Black Panther and suspense. There was none in Shang-Chi Everything was plot armour with pretty CGI.

    I really enjoyed ‘Eternals’. It’s tough for Phase 4 films to follow all that the previous films built up to with Infinity War and Endgame. Eternals, Shang Chi and Black Widow are 100% superior films to many other MCU origin stories that have come before them but it is very much like rebooting the MCU all over again at this stage. I hope they can reach those highs they achieved in a few years once we get to know these characters more.

            @spackbace: fyi, there is no Disney+ trial anymore direct through them, it was retired ages ago.

            But coincidently, a 1 month membership may be included in Gamepass Ultimate with his $1 deal he is referring to as a perk (at least it was last time I checked).

      You're not missing much. They did the best they could with the story they were told to tell, but it's simply all too much for one movie. But even as separate movies this never had a chance of being one of the stronger Marvel movies.

    Saw this at the cinema to escape the house after lockdown and went in with a very low expectation, with that said I thought it was better than expected as a stand-alone film. Phase 4 does feel like a bit of a mess so far though.
