  "Max total USB load 1A" ?? On the front of the device. But then the back is stating 2.1A USB. Confusing

    May be an old photo - this item (PT4USB) on Jackson's website has nothing on the front of the device and states "4 USB Fast Charge Ports (2.1A)"

      I grabbed a PT4USB today.
      The plug says on the front, beneathe the USB sockets, "Max Total USB Load 2.1A"

      The packaging rear states:
      2.1Amp Fast Charge
      Current: 2.1 Amp Rapid Charge max 2400W
      USB Outlet: 5VDC, 2.1A

      Then in bold, "Total load connected to all USB outlets must not exceed 2.1 Amp."

      Which is a bit concerning as it makes it sound like the user has to take care not to plug in two fast-charging devices at the same time!

  Those with eBay plus may want to consider this 4 outlet powerboard with two USB charging ports with 2.1A output for $14 which has a bit of both (free shipping with eBay plus)

    ahh crap, I bought two of them today thinking they were surge protected. I noticed they did say overload protection… is that not the same thing?
