  Most currently available "bio glitter" and "eco glitter" is not much more environmentally friendly than conventional plastic-based glitter.

    That is absolutely correct Damion. Have a look at the website and information available to make your own decisions. The glitter itself has EU certification and significant testwork to back it up rather than just labelled Bio-Glitter.
