Audioengine A5+ Wireless Powered Speakers Pair - Gloss White $367 + Delivery @ Dick Smith / Kogan

340

This is the best deal I have seen for the wireless powered model of Audioengine A5+ Speakers. Additionally, you can also get the Audioengine DS2 Desktop Speaker Stands Pair for only $23.99 + Delivery (for sale around $50 in other stores).

Some other amazing deals for speakers from Audioengine, Edifier, and Pioneer:

Not sure about the quality of service from Dick Smith (or Kogan) on these deals, but they mentioned on their website that these are AU stock and under additional manufacturer warranty (which are from their official partners).

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2021

  • Thank you, love the white too!

    • I planned to post it yesterday when there was plenty of stock for the black, but I was too busy and couldn't make it. Unfortunately, they were sold out this morning. :(

Damn, this is a good price

  • OOS Already damn

  • Holy crap good price.

  • How are the other speakers in this deal?

    • P17 is a great deal for passive speakers if u don't pay shipping

It just shows you how little HiFi has innovated in the last ten years when these are still considered one of the best that you can buy. I sold mine a couple of years back having owned them since about 2013.

    • Were they alright, considering the price point?

      • Yeah, I thought they they were amazing for the price point. I actually had them with the S8 subwoofer and got them both dirt cheap at the time. I'm actually annoyed that I sold them to be honest

Totally agree. I think that partly because innovation nowadays in headphones and speakers has been shifted from delivering high fidelity or musicality to versatility and portability, which is partly a result of the shifts in living styles and working conditions. Additionally, speakers and headphones manufacturers shifted their priorities to a larger market, in which people prefer convenience/portability (Bluetooth, wifi, and battery) to high fidelity (enjoying it also requires trained ears, accordingly more time-consuming).

    • In terms of powered speakers yeah, there's bugger all options. Obviously once you get an amp/receiver there's loads of good options, but that gets very expensive.

  • Try Kanto Yu, great sounding speakers

    • I tried YU6, and these were actually amazing.

      • They sure do.

  • The HD3s were a good price… !
