This is the cheapest I’ve ever seen this model go for. It’s got sapphire glass crystal, sub $1000 seikos usually have seikos proprietary crystal so big plus for this watch.
The retail price for this diver is around $1.8k. Really good value imo.
I’ve personally got too many divers already so won’t be buying, but enjoy it if you do end up getting it lads.

This is the J version, which I think means for the Japanese market? Not too sure, but they usually sell for more than regular variants.
Edit 2: the SPB051J is out of stock but the SPB071J is available, I think it’s the same watch but different dial and hands colour with a nylon strap instead of metal bracelet. It is a little cheaper than the SPB051J for those that don’t want a metal bracelet and thought that the black dial was too conservative. Thanks to u/Jayp for the update.
Great watch, but wears every bit of it's 42.6mm case. I have a couple of versions of the original MM200 (SBDC063J and SBDC073J) which are similar in specs, but 44mm. These 62mas inspired watches wear much larger, even though spec wise they're smaller.
