  • Any deals on display port 3 Meters?

    Are they certified?

      Unlikely.

All the certified ones I've seen explicitly highlight the certification with that holographic/QR code thingy you put into the HDMI certification app.
(doesn't mean it won't work, but don't be surprised if it doesn't)

  • any deal for a cheap DP to HDMI cable? 1080p is fine

  • Would these be okay for 4k60? Or any that are reliable people can recommend? I've been keeping an eye out but not sure what to trust.

    • If 4k60 is the only requirement, what you need is a “premium” high speed cable.

You then have two options - certified or uncertified premium cables.

Certified ones will generally be more expensive but give a guarantee that they will provide the features for the premium tier (provided your equipment is compatible). An example would be this one from JB.
(Though this was from a quick search and you can probably find cheaper, certified cables).

Uncertified ones differ in that there’s no guarantee so if you get these cables it’s probably best to look at the reviews and sort of get a consensus of what works/doesn’t.

After saying all that, this cable should work (in fact, allegedly supports up to 4k@120). So you should be fine with this.

As for recommendations, I recently got this Ultra High Speed cable. It works and is certified for not too much more.
Having a look, they also have Premium cables. Though they only provide the certification for 100+ orders which is weird (cause I got 2 ultra high speeds and each box came with it).

Personally I’d just get the ultra high speed ones and call it a day.

Thanks for your help, it's mainly for an M1 Mac mini to connect to a 4k monitor but also for occasional Series X use on the same monitor. The monitor is only 60Hz though. Cheers!
