$50Luckily been able to get $0.99 and $19 in the past. However got stung paying full price for my parents when they wanted one.
Is this one of the more basic models?
I've tried to keep tabs of different soda stream models but good grief, it's confusing.
Very basic model but it has worked well for us last couple of years. When I looked into it the mechanism for all the manual ones was essentially the same. It has held up well with both the cannisters, and also a large tank conversion.
This is the entry model. It has the old screw-in mechanism which requires you to screw the bottle in rather than just click it in like every other model above it.
Not a big deal, but the click in mechanism is certainly easier.

I believe it does come with a cylinder
Every Sodastream sold in Australia comes with a full cylinder of CO2.

In comparison with the ALDI one's and other similar ones available in the market around the same price. How good or bad this is?

Been craving extra bubly soda water. Think i have to get one of these machines. Will the cheaper models still create the same amount of fizz?
