  • Disgustingly good deal! Got mine for $2495 a few months back. Kicking myself I didn't wait but enjoyed my time with it so far, excellent tv!

  • +1

If it's any consolation I paid $2600 for the CX (Last years model) in May of this year.
    Crazy price!

    • Ooofft that hurt reading it haha! End of the day as long as you're enjoying the tv. Can't keep waiting around for a better deal forever.

      • +3

Haha! exactly, I thought it was a good price at the time and by far it's the best TV I've had.
Managed to rack up 1540 hours of use based on the service menu so far :)

Once you go OLED, It's hard to go back to a normal LCD panel

        • +1

do you pronounce it OLED or OLED?

  • +1

$1895.25 for the 48" too, cheaper than the JB deal.

Chances of TTG being included in the up coming 20% off eBay making this even cheaper?

  • Anyone ever had luck trying to price match one of these eBay deals?

    • Yes, I just did it this morning with TGG

    • I went in store at TGG and they straight up offered $2000. I took an extra $50 off with Suncorp e-gift cards.

      • Shipping included or extra for shipping?

        • Extra for shipping but I did pick up since I was there. Oh and $25 off with Commbank rewards. Pretty happy with $1925!

  • How do you claim a warranty or fault on these ebay deals?

    • +2

If I'm not mistaken, it's something you can claim directly with the good guys. I'd assume that's the case, because the order confirmation etc is done directly through their online service (I.e you get a confirmation email from The Good Guys, in addition to that of Ebay).

    • Everything is is absolutely the same.. TGG invoice issued following the ebay confirmation. Previously the TGG invoice is for the full amount and the ebay invoice/receipt shows the discounted amount.

  • Wait until the G1 series comes down in price

  • +1

TGG matched this price over the phone

  • Does not look it is part of the Ebay Friday promo….

    • Nope, I have checked as well. Saves me from having to modify my order, so I'm happy about that haha.

  • Slightly cheaper with this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/666742

    After cash back works out to be 0.93 * 2142 = $1992.06 + Delivery or C/C

    • Even cheaper if using $1500 gift cards from Shopback.

    • I don't think we can stack it:
eBay 7% Cashback (Uncapped, No Codes) @ Cashrewards

      • Yeah can’t stack with codes, so that’s why I calculated it based on 2142

  • Booom. Bought one for mum.

    Eneloops check.
    LG Oled check
    Lenovo laptop check
…. And a hundred other deals from ozbargain.

FYI for those thinking to get the Sony 55’ x90j. Don’t buy it. It’s a very good tv but this is lg Oled is just breath taking. I own the Sony so I think I can advise on this.

  • oos

  • and n email advising delay from LG and TGG today. 3-4 weeks which a bummer.

the offer for $200 store credit if you chnage the order is ok but basically you need to spend the orginal sale price plus $200 store credit (or more) in order to take advantage of tis offer. up sell effectively.

There is a 10% off tonight online so not sure if anythign better on offer
