Harvey Norman have just reduced the prices on a number of gaming laptops as part of their Black Friday sales.
There is also the 3060 model available for $1287 https://www.harveynorman.com.au/acer-nitro-5-15-6-inch-i5-11…

The 3060 is slightly more expensive than last time but this one has the 11th gen rather than 10th gen CPU which was $1,198.
Yeah - worth it $100 more for 2 more cores and PCIE4
The 4 core was the biggest drawback of the other deal for longterm use.
I believe 11th gen has Thunderbolt 4 too.
Don’t support Gerry!
I agree but $1300 for a 3060 seems like a really good deal
Sometimes you just gotta do whats right for your wallet.
Is 8gb ram enough for this?
Very easy to upgrade
can someone help me find proof upgrading the ram and HDD won't void warranty? My friend is worried it might
Just ask dell or get and authorised technician to install it
Not really but can be upgraded pretty cheap
It's fine but you'll be doing yourself a huge favour by getting another 8GB stick of RAM for $50.
Better then the G15 deal recently?
The g15 1650? Would go for the 3060 over both 1650 or 3050, for a little extra.
Nope.
Ryzen > Intel
Rtx 3050 > GTX 1650
$979 < $1087
Dell > Harvey Norman
Therefore G15 > nitro 5
Wait so the Dell G15 is better?
Yes
Oh man I really want to get the 11th gen with 3060 deal, but I already bought the previous deal with the 10th gen last month.
Anyone know a way to do a refund/swap?
Did the same last month but haven't picked it up yet, considering a refund and swapping to the 11th gen for the little extra money.
Damn the i7-11800H/3060 version is $139 more than last time :/
And don't forget shopback has 7% off HN gift cards.
Back in stock…
Nice ! The 3060 deal is arguably better than the last one which was a 4core CPU
