    No this is FHD which is 1080p and at that size probably not that good. the monitor you are talking about is 1440p higher resolution

        It's all about preferences I think. Because the pixel density (PPI) is the same as for a 1920x1080 27inch monitor. So if you need to increase your FHD 27' screen 1.5 times without changing app UI size, it's a good chance.

        I have been using this monitor for over a year and the only drawback I found was the lack of a USB. I tried to switch to dell S3422DWG 34' 1440p, but I couldn't, because VA versus IPS sucks in terms of viewing angles and colors. Also, I had to change the text size in OS settings to 125% (I use Windows) because the UI in the apps was small. And some apps became a bit blurry. So I switched back to LG and I'm happy. Another plus is if you're switching from FHD to WFHD you don't need to upgrade your GPU.

        As I said, it's all about preferences.

      1,920 x 1,080 pixels is full HD. This is 2560x1080

    Well for starters, this is only WFHD. The resolution is not as good as the xiaomi 34inch.

  Even though this is an IPS panel, not worth it. The dell S2234 better deal for around the same money. The only thing it is Gsync compatible

      Aldi one is only 75Hz, isn't curved and hasn't been validated as G-Sync Compatible.

  Tossing up between this and the dell.

  Dell doesn't have gsync or IPS
  LG is only 1080p

  I've currently got 27inch 1080p that's 7 years old so anything is an upgrade.

  Why do people keep saying this is FHD. The resolutions is WFHD that is 2560x1080. QHD is 2560x1440. Considering this is ultra wide, there is not much difference in resolution.
