Wow all 4 colours are $99.00, nice find PP. Plus don't forget 6% CR.

Change the strap to leather & these look awesome for skinny wristers.

    • By any chance do you know of any other popular watch models for skinny wrists?

    • Any recommendations for a good leather strap?

  • Well. Which one does come with a puppy

Seems everyone has several these days

    • i went with one of the ecodrives for a field watch, leave the near the window, always charged and ready to go and no need to set the time if it hasn’t been worn in a few days.

seem to be so much love / excitement for autos and so little love for solar watches on ozbargain.

      • I used to use a kinetic watch but the battery itself cannot last forever (of course)

Perhaps solar is even better than kinetic for longevity

        • My first watch was a Seiko Kinetic that I bought ~20 years ago. These had a design flaw apparently which meant the battery/capacitor was always going to need replacing. Took it to get serviced with a battery replacement and it's good to go.

Note that solar watches are still quartz watches, just that they use solar cells to charge the battery, rather than movement (Kinetic). I'd be surprised if solar didn't eventually need a battery change too.

          • @pennypacker: Indeed you are correct, I'd never expect any capacitor or battery to last forever

            I still have the watch

Reminds me of the people that bought it for me (at my request - what a little bigger I was)

            I'll keep it foreva

  • These don't come with manual winding do they? Would be a massive pain to maintain these if you're the WFH type.

    • No manual wind.

  • Remember you normally have to change the battery on so-called Solar watches at around 10 years anyway…..and apart from that,I've bought three Casio G-Shocks from here in one week…this madness has to stop!

Great price, I just sold my green one on eBay for more than that, it was too small for me
