I signed up for the Paramount Plus Trial and then cancelled a few weeks ago.
Today I received an email offering me 3 months half price if I resubscribe.
Not the most content yet but definitely some good stuff worth a watch for three months, and hopefully even more to watch when all the old Star Trek goes over!

I got the year deal. I used it once to load up a scene in Drawn Together to link someone because it wasn't on YouTube.
(profanity)'s sake, release your Xbox app in Australia, I can download the US one fine but it just doesn't work here. Your selection is nowhere near good enough for me to bother to use the Android TV function of my tele.
Same for smart tvs it doesn’t work for mine. Definitely not the best streaming service out there. Old school McGyver is a banger though
US and global service is entirely different, for some weird reason. You can VPN into any country except the US, there it’s a completely different setup with a unique account.
I’m guessing the entire back end is different or something, and everything is being done twice.

They yanked STD off Netflix 2 days before s4 started and are now holding it back until "sometime in 2022".
Perfect timing for the A league
Pity their service is pathetic. Soccer in 25fps is horrific to watch. The first game took 3hrs after finishing to arrive on demand (there is no option to watch the match from the beginning once it's started) and when it did arrive, it skipped the first 18mins.
I think like Optus, P+ will have some teething issues

It ran well live except for some blue loading circle during the game that never went away. The circle hasn't shown for tv episodes or ads, just the A League game. Hopefully fixed for tonight. Great to have Simon Hill back, don't miss the Foxtel (Peacock etc) clowns at all. But if you're not into the A League, there's not a lot of content.
I had that issue as well. However once I stopped the stream then restarted early in the game, it went away.
Agree. got it for my dad to watch the A league and the UI is terrible. Admittedly he is elderly and the technology learning curve is greater, but man they make it harder than it needs be. No upcoming schedule or even an indication if you're watching it live. I just don't get these services. Why make it so hard for people to watch your content.

They have removed their Star Trek content from Netflix. The new season of Discovery is going to be on Paramount Plus. It's been delayed until next year for international audiences, just started streaming in the States. It's really frustrating, I don't want yet another streaming service.
Huh. I just had a look and most of the old stuff is still there. I better watch voyager before it gets yanked. Good riddance to Discovery though. I gave up when that Asian lady time travel to the terran universe. Ugh
New South park movie/event episode will be on there next week also for those that don't enjoy sailing the high seas
The service is awful. Each time I wanted to watch something the episodes didn't work and sometimes it would be all pixelated. I tried with Mayor of Kingstown and several other shows. Not an issue with my internet NBN 100/50
The app is very basic, still missing a profile selector and ability to favourite shows. No native app on LG TVs.
You know something is wrong when it is more reliable and quicker to just stream on non-legal apps. Hopefully they can improve, but for now it is just the same 10 All Access app rebranded with same issues.
I'm using a Chromecast with Google TV and no issues since that Apple yearly deal.
Agreed I’ve used Chromecast, Apple iphone and Nvidia shield. All works perfectly.
My kid loves the preschool shows like Blues Clues, Baby Shark and paw patrol.

Used a mate's free trial login to check out the A-League, wasn't impressed, the interface is a bit confusing (Apple TV) and every time I tried to load the game it tried to load an ad or commercial. Why are they trying to serve ads on a paid service. Won't be subscribing, I'll find a different way to watch it for free.
Got the year on Apple’s deal and used it once to see what they got. Haven’t used it since. It’s crap.

Anyone find when Chromecasting, the next time you watch the same show (Not on Chromecast), it’ll go back to the episode you first watched on Chromecast?
So, I’ll watch South Park s1e1 on Chromecast, until s1e10. The next time I watch, it doesn’t remember that I’ve watched 1-10, and it’ll play from ep1
I used it to watch a few shows and didn't find it that bad but I was on a windows PC, guess apps is a different story
I watch it through the Amazon Prime app and have no issues.
