Solist is amazing. Oloroso is very good. The entry level stuff is okay at best. For that price you have a lot of better choices. Also RRP in Taiwan is $1000TWD which is roughly $49AUD. So the import markup is quite a lot!

Ugh bourbon pricing makes me sad, and angry at the same time. I don't entirely blame the sellers…but $600 for a 6yo bottle is insane ¬¬
I was looking at some of your whiskey and see that one of the bottles I bought recently ( from a different shop) is $200 more expensive than other places e.g Glendronach Revival yr - 2014 Billy Walker
I found two 1L bottles of solist oloroso on the street just before Christmas 2019. Very nice drop. I hope to stumble on more bottles in the future.
Compared to the soloist range - the entry level range are quite watered down in flavour and complexity imho. I would recommend other whiskies at this price point unless you want “smooth” whiskies that go down almost like water. The flavour and tasting notes are there for the entry level range… but you will need to put in effort to search for them. I’d recommend trying at a bar before buying.
