    after I got poor customer service from ebay plus I will never pay for it again. Amazon Prime is stil the best and Amazons customer service is unmatched.

    I am in a dispute with eBay

    I cancelled my eBay plus roughly 1 week so I don't get charged after 30 days if I forget.

    eBay plus T&Cs (https://pages.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/plusTC/), clause 3.2 state:
    3.2. If you cancel your eBay Plus membership during the 30-day trial period, you will incur no fees or other charges for the membership. You will continue to receive all eBay Plus benefits until the end of the 30-day trial period, at which time your eBay Plus membership will end.

    My eBay plus was cancelled on the day I cancelled and the rest of the days did not continue.

    I spoke to chat and they put the blame on me saying I cancelled it, I am not denying I cancelled it but I am entitled to the rest of the days, roughly 23 days left. I also linked them the terms and conditions and pointed out clause 3.2.

    The rep was dancing around the question about me pointing out clause 3.2 cause they know they are in the wrong.

    The chat got escalated to a manager and even the manager in the e-mail won't acknowledge their wrongdoing. He fully ignored my question about clause 3.2

    Either way, I am fighting for a $10 voucher

        Funny cause one manager got back to me via e-mail, then I quoted the clause then he didn't say anything nor gave me a solution. He didn't respond to my response.

        Also I escalated it again, no answer back after 4 days. Obviously they know I am right and quoting their own conditions but they don't want to honour it.

        All I am asking for is a $10 voucher which I completed.

        It sucks cause there's no external body to complain about eBay, the ACCC are useless. There should be an ombudsman

    FYI I haven't received mine yet. On chat, I was told this:
    "Please allow me to share that we are aware with this and unfortunately there has been a little delay in receiving the gift cards and it will be sent to you between 22nd December to 25th December via email.         Yep, I purchased from the correct categories. Ebay aren’t disputing that I activated the offer and spent the $90.
        They are claiming that because they never sent me a confirmation email I’m not entitled to a voucher. Seems pretty misleading to me for a customer to do everything on their end and eBay to get out of honouring the deal by not sending an email.
        Pretty sure I won’t be renewing.

    Got this follow up email on my main account yesterday:

    "Hello Misc,

    This is a follow up email for your concern about the offer, Spend $90 and get a gift card of $10.

    As discussed on chat that it might have been that you did not had activated the offer properly because you would have got a confirmation email after you had activated the offer, and you did not. I'm afraid, you are not eligible for the offer.

        • Let them look up your details. My ebay plus trial expires 29th Dec (still active but to be cancelled)

        I have checked the details and could see that you have not yet received $10 gift card. Here in this case I may need to escalate your details to the dedicated team and we will get back to you once we will get any response from the dedicated team.
