All bond films for $100? Please this cant be a deal.. all the films other then the most recent are in stan/foxtel, save yourself the $100 and wait 2 months until the new movie is on all streaming channels

With Amazon buying MGMs modern catalogue of movies, and the entire Bond catalogue, it probably won't be long until they are all on Prime exclusively.

    • You sure about that? I’m watching through all of the James Bond movies from the start and not a single one up to Moonraker has been available on a streaming platform except to rent from Apple. Do you have a link to any of them on Stan?

      • +1

Stan's license expired a couple of months ago. I don't think it's on any streaming service at the moment.

        • Ah that sucks, im glad I binged them while I had the chance then!

    • +3

Yes then you see them disappear off and you cant watch them. This is not the same deal as a transient paid access to the content.
$100 is a good deal for purchasing a permanent license to watch them.

    • Good luck trying to find them all plus paying $15 a month per service for access lol

  • Link doesnt seem to work and yeah, Terrible 'deal'

And it went streaming the other day.

    • Open iTunes on your iPad and hey presto it’s there!

Looks like you can get the blu-ray collection with 24 movies for 125 with free postage on ebay

    • Is it a real one ? So many of those good ebay deals turn out to be copies.

These are 4K. Blu ray is so 2010

If you're going to spend a decent amount of money on the collection, at least get a physical copy. $130 at JB Hifi but I'm sure they would be included in the 20% off or whatever that regularly comes around.
I don't understand the whole "pay a premium for a digital copy" thing, just stream it if you want digital.

      4k vs 1080

    • Not everyone thinks physical discs is better than digital.

      • Plastic/discs could degrade or get scratched.
      • Digital can be accessible anywhere from multiple devices.
      • You don’t need a blu-ray player
      • You don’t have to physically change discs to watch a (different) movie.
      • your particular deal is $30 more expensive than this.

I understand there are benefits to “physical” copies, but there are pros and cons for both.

      • I get where you're coming from, more what I'm saying is that if you want digital, why wouldn't you just stream them whenever you require for a much lower price? Is it essential to actually own it?

    • 1 no need to get up to put discs in
2 watch on any apple device anytime u want
3 add 4 friends/ family to your family sharing and they can watch your collection
4 no discs that get scratched/ degrade / lost/ take up space
5 catch-up from where u last watched on any device

Aren't these pretty much the same points mentioned earlier?

  • +3

OP, you might want to mention that all the movies are in 4K UHD,

  • isnt there 26 james bond films? (not including the latest one)

    2 are not "official" ??

New movie is already available as a 'Linux iso'.

    • What's the quality like?

      • Excellent, it's available in 1080p and 2160p with Atmos. Just need to know where to look to find it, which isn't hard at all.

  • Just watched no time to die from torrent

I bought the Bluray boxset from Amazon and it arrived with broken pieces of plastic scattered everywhere so I sent it back.

Apple’s service delivers a good bitrate in my experience and these are in 4K, well worth $100.

George Lazenby was what made the franchise survive

    • Dalton was disapointing

      • No way, he was one of the best Bonds. Him, Lazenby, Moore
