Always been interested by the DT770's - but have been worried reading about its harsh v-shape
Is it noticeable in casual listening?
It's more of a strong U-shape, but it is very audible, as are the treble spikes.
I guess it’ll vary from person to person but I find the reproduction more balanced than most typical headphones

At similar prices for closed back, strongly consider the AKG K371, Shure SRH840, 1More Triple Driver On-Ear (H1707, Silver).
For open back, strongly consider the Sennheiser HD 560S, AKG K612 Pro, or the HIFIMAN HE400SE.
I've seen you recommend the AKG K371's over and over again - but also saw Amazon reviews that suggest the QC is rather hit-or-miss?
There were early issues with earpad decompression and the fold-away mechanism on the headband, and both have long been ironed out.
