looks like you apply the discount code online and buy the giftcard from the website. once you have the giftcard, you can buy any other giftcard that BigW carries on their shelf in-store. Not a bad way to get a 5% off a whole range of giftcards.
Pretty sure you can't use gift cards to buy gift cards. If you could, then you would have a never expiring gift card.
I just got clarification email from the WISH card website. One can buy any gift card using the WISH gift card in stores. What I am not able to understand, if I buy the gift card in store, should there be 5% rebate? Looks like it's an online only deal, not an in-store one. Can we enter any promotion code while shopping in-store in BIGW or Woollies? Can anybody confirm that?
You can't use the 5% code at the checkout. So, the best you can do is buy another gift card to prevent yours from expiring

Not at all, just use it within the expiry and you've made your money. No bank account i know gives 5% after tax, which is the money you save by getting this.
The card is only valid for 1 year, so you'll most likely use it within a few months of getting your card. It will be a struggle to find a deposit interest rate of 5% after tax for that few month period.

I have used this code a number of times since RACQ released it (should have posted it on here, oops!). Free postage, i get it sent to me via registered mail (so you HAVE to sign for it, which is great as i buy a $500 card every couple of weeks. No need to put in your membership number (so anyone in Australia can just type in RACQ and you get 5% off). Its a great deal!

I tried to buy some but free shipping is not available. If I want a $100 card the options are $14.99 for courier and $5.50 for registered mail. $300 or $500 of cards the only option is courier.
On a $500 order the saving is only 2%.

I've stocked up on a few cards in anticipation of purchases over the next few months. Not really worth keeping the card longer, as interest costs start to bite. eg. Keep money in UBank and it earns 6% (pre tax) after a year while this offer is 5% off in 1 day or a year's time.

NAB Visa Mini card. Opened a long ago when the rebate was 1%. Now 0.5%. Don't know if the offer is still valid.

Wrong. You can purchase in any amount. It doesn't have to be in those denominations. Maximum for one card is $500 though.

I buy these through work all the time to buy fuel at Woolworths Petrol, so $1.50 per litre becomes -4c discount, -4c for in store purchase, then 5% = $134.9 per litre.
