    Corded

I think ozbargain only likes ozito 18v battery tools

    • Damn I use 20V worx

    • Yep, i'm building up a good collection

Somethings are perfectly fine corded. I have a few corded tools I don't mind but somethings are just a pain corded. Totally depends on how mobile you need to be with the tool. Inside the garage I'm fine with corded. Outside it, not so much haha

      • I have a corded chainsaw. Only so many trees on my suburban block to fell.

    Auspost is getting weird

    • Turning into The Reject Shop. They'd have stuff from ASDA (supermarket in the UK, on par with Tesco) soon.

Awesome. Grabbed a grinder, reciprocal saw, and a sander.

    • +1

Grinder for the jugular, reciprocal saw for easier disposal but what's the sander for?

Get the bloodstains off the surfaces

          That makes sense. Cheers

More stuff to bog down their deliveries? I wonder how long they'll take to deliver these;)

    • tv's took a couple of weeks

  • Good business model: Prepearing early for their own doom?

Never owned jigsaw before. Are the blades standardized so I can buy something from bunnings for replacement?

    • Mostly and yes I would guess

    • There are several standards. But at $19 it is a use and dump product. But if you insist get it tagged every year!

      • +1

Yeah I decided against it, I dont actually need one right now and prefer spending more for something I definitely want to use.

  • Here's a business model for them: Travel, 'cost the last package I got from them did more traveling around the state than I've done in years (even pre-COVID).

  • At those prices you can get a grinder for every attachment. I've currently got three - a bought, a found and an inherited.

$115 delivered for a set of 5 corded tools is a bargain for the wannabe handyman/handywoman of the house. They’ll probably stay nice and clean in the shed/garage for that day when they are eventually needed…

  • Just order three tools only $57 delivered for small DIY project.

    • +2

Ok. But only because you told me to. I didn't really need them as I have no outstanding small projects.

  • Bought all 5.

Any idea if these use standardised attachments? From Bunnings for example

    • +1

lol - bit late to be worrying about that now if you already bought them!
But I would expect 'yes' - they're probably pretty standard.

Clothes iron looks decent for $15 delivered:

    • Thanks!

  • takes on new meaning going postal. Dont have bring your tools, they have it all……

  • Would the reciprocating saw be good enough to chop a stainless steel exhaust tube?

I’m changing my car exhaust and part of install is the stock one needs to be cut.

    • +1

Angle grinder with metal disc FTW.

      • I have an angle grinder. But the exhaust will be chopped while still attached to car, so don’t think I’ll have the clearance for angle grinder to reach the top part.

        • If you go for the reciprocater you'll need a hacksaw blade for cutting metal as mtg mentions below. Otherwise something like this should do the job.

    • you would need a metal cutting blade. you might also have clearance problems as well with the reciprocating saw

    • no

  • interested in Angle grinder and reciprocating saw, are any of these good?

  • +1

What a ripoff! Can get the grinder straight from the factory for $7.80USD if you order 3000.

  • I like the price of the 3 paws pet bowl with scale https://auspost.com.au/shop/product/3paws-pet-bowl-with-scal… only $14.95.
Anyone know if it will be ok for a dog with 4 paws, and how to get a big dog in the pet bowl so I can weigh him>

  • Of course— the one thing I could use is OOS: reciprocal saw —> G-o-n-e!
