Thanks OP wallet says thank you, liver says f*** off.

    • +6

My wallet also says f*** off.

      • +1

Your liver says thank you then~~~

  • wonder if that would stack with any codes

    • +1

SHOPBACK25 for $25 off $150 min spend. New Customers only

    • +1

hoping they stack it with FREEDOM code for free ship over $100 on certain products

      • Yes. That's more useful than other codes

  • -3

    Drink responsibility.

Don't tell me what to do, man.

    • OP's telling you to drink your responsibility, not drink responsibly. Very different things.

  • is there a cap?

    • $30

      • That’s an expensive cap

    • +36

each bottle will have a cap on top of it

  • Does using Boozebud credit nullify cashback?

    • im not 100pct sure but i think maybe nullify, because the credit is given in the form of unique code that we have to enter
      but ymmv

      • If the credit is automatically applied i was told by someone else it wouldnt nullify but im not sure

        • they dont do automatic applied anymore now the credit is code.

$6.99 delivery kills the deal..it used to be free over $75 spend

  • The "10% Off Spirits when Buying 2+ Bottles" does not work for me.
I guess, the "Glenlivet 12 Year Old Illicit Still" IS Spirit.

    • +1

Probably specially marked items, there's always a series of caveats in their deals

      • +1

        Yeah, you are right:

Boozebud says: "10% Off Gin (2+ Bottles) Save 10% on select gin when buying 2+ bottles. Automatically applied to cart. Max savings $50."

The deal's description on the Shopback IS misleading: "10% Off Spirits when Buying 2+ Bottles"

  • I'm guessing the staysafe free shipping has ended? sad times.

  • 30% is the sweet spot for BB now that the free shipping is not valid.

    I'm in. Thanks OP

  • Two slabs of VB for what should be around $37 each delivered.

    Can't complain really.

    • +29

if you drink VB, you probably don't complain about much :)

  • If I use the free shipping code 'freedom' will the cashback be cancelled? I can't see the coupon 'freedom' in Shopbacks list.

    • the free shipping codes have been excluded from cashback for a few months now

      • oh thats annoying. thanks.

  • I know it's not on the list of accepted codes but sure wish I could use 'FREEDOM' for the free shipping.

  • +6

boozebud has to have to worst menu and search functions ever - just too hard to find what you are looking for and the search bar showing 0 results for stuff that is actually in stock

    • +1

Try the Coles website, you will feel much better about BB.

  • Two questions:

    1. Do you get cashback on the advent calendars?

    2. If you use a gift card does cash back apply (I'm guessing "no" as I think it will count as a voucher code)?

  • -5

    New Customers only!!!!

    • +4

incorrect , 30% cashback is eligible for all customers

  • FREEDOM & cashback worked for me. ordered 3 x makers mark & $30 back.

    worked other day as well.

    • +3

It will get reversed later. No point in using the free shipping code and putting $30 at risk.

      • i hope studmuffin keeps us updated if he got the cb or not

        • It takes ages to see when it's finally confirmed.

I think by now, reps know to include the code if it's acceptable.

If anything, bits s good way to catch buyers out.

    • If the code is not listed on Shopback, don't complain about your cashback being denied.

  • No exclusions for Champagne?

  • how long does it take to get reversed/denied ?

  • Got a bunch of wines ordered with the shopback25 code, tidy, should add up to $55 off in the end

  • Unrelated to this post however can anyone answer if there is a consumer law regarding what the minimum best before date must be for an online delivery order (beer) & if not disclosed as being short dated! Thanks

    • +3

I'm not gonna go through the whole legislation but knowing ACL it's probably up to interpretation.

I'd say that the product has to be "fit for purpose" and "as described". If they put an expiry date, it should meet that date. If they don't put a date it would probably be based on what would be expected by a "reasonable person". So a 6 pack with a couple of weeks is probably ok. But a carton with a couple of weeks may or may not be.

      • Thanks for the reply, yes I agree with the expiry dates however beer generally shows a best before date and if you order one six pack with eight months left on it and then another has less than one month it is really just a guessing game what will arrive. I think any reasonable person should expect a minimum best before date guaranteed as not everyone wants to drink them immediately.

        • +1

FWIW I recently ordered some beer from Dan's with a month left till its best before date (site didn't mention date). Complained online and ended up being refunded.
Short dated stock should be marked accordingly.

          • @J-B: Exactly and what short dated is not clear? There should be a minimum to go by which you can expect - three months minimum or so for instance unless they state otherwise online

          • @J-B: Took your annitiative and rang customer service. They refunded me the full amount which I think is fair. Just over 1&1/2 months is not great imo

totally overpriced items. Even with the $25 off and $30 cashback….just doesn't make sense. I'm better off with the flybuys 2000 points and 20% cashback deals that come up regularly for First Choice etc, and occasionally flybuys do bonus targeted deals. I just finished one….buy $60 or more for 2 weeks at First Choice and get 8000 points ($40), stacked with the other deals, makes it totally worthwhile

    • it depends. For the ciders I've selected, price was the same as Dan Murphy's.

  • BESTBUD is listed on Shopback and Boozebud - free shipping and 10% off (for new customers). I just signed up new accounts and delivered to friends' places. Worked on champagne for me

    • make sure you collect before your friend drank them all.
so, we cant use the same address but different person?

      • "so, we cant use the same address but different person?"

        Nope.

My brother sent me some beers, tried to use the new customer codes as he was a new customer. But as he was sending it to my place, and I've already used the new customer codes, he was rejected.

  • I was interested, but it's not worth the risk using free shipping.

  • Back to "Up to 8.50%". Expired.

  • Wtf this getting delivered this year??

  • Anyone got there order?

last time I order from these guys
