      I feel you're probably going to say the T9 comes with the 2x auto-empty station but I probably deserve that….

        T9 has an oscillating mopping so it should be better for hard floors.
        T9 also has 3000pa compared to 1500pa suction.
        T9 used v2.0 of TrueMapping which supports 3D mapping.
        T9 has an air freshner.
        T9 costs $300 more.

        I'd bite on the T9+ if it can get close to 1k

          Thanks for the summary! The T9+ is $1016 which is $17 more than the T8+ in this deal, if you or someone you know has access to TGG Commercial!

      It’s great when it works… constantly losing the map drives me insane. You need to be able to hard save the map.

        Had one of these a few years ago. Back then I got so suck of losing the map that I got rid of it and grabbed a Xiaomi. Can't believe this is still an issue.

      There's a comparison to this unit in the OP's post on the table.
      The main thing I can see is the T8+ has cameras on the front which can detect things on the ground that are below the lidar sensor.

      There's other small things, but is that worth double the price? tough sell

    there is two type of sensors AIVI and 3d true detect which what this had, meaning it wont eat sock and cords for the most part, 3d true detecto is better IMHO AIVI tech,
    AIVI advantage is you can talk and look at your pet when away.
