Last time I went to a Howards storage store, prices weren't exactly cheap

But more to the point, a bargain is getting something cheaper than it sells.
Of course I cannot find that rack cheaper because it's exclusive to HSW.
However, there is this one from IKEA - http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/60160948/ - which is almost identical and $100 cheaper.
A bargain is getting something cheaper than it sells - no? Lets say Harvey Norman has 10% off laptops, the price is originally $1000 and discounted to $900. That does not mean it is a bargain. I can ensure you that the same laptop is 20% cheaper elsewhere i.e. MLN, OLC.
You can't compare. The ikea one is rubbish, not chrome , no wheels, no top shelf. The howards comes down to 180 comparing to ikeas 150.

They have some nice stuff, but even at a 50% discount most of their stuff would still be far too expensive. I only go in there for ideas so I can buy things elsewhere.

Couple of years ago I bought some chrome shelving from Bunnings for $99. Saw the same item a few days later at Howards for $299. Mentioned this to the sales assistant who calmly explained that for $299 the product was assembled for you - mighty expensive installation charge for 20 minutes work at most.
