      Sorry to hear of your difficulties when attempting to purchase. Our checkout is operated via eWay's payment gateway - which is protected via their anti-fraud technology. It appears the error was generated at their end.

      To assist us - and prevent this occurring again - would you be willing to provide some details about your environment? ie. what ISP you use, which browser you were in, were you using any proxies etc.

        Optus, firefox and no proxy. This is the first time I have ever had any problem like this and was very unimpressed. I was keen on purchasing this camera. What can you offer to do to rectify the problem?

    Hi Camerahouse,

    I just bought one online with successful payment but after the payment the system then ask me to register a new member where a error occurred when I entered my username and password. the error info says "404 - File not found 500 - Server Error An error has occured :("

    But I checked my mail and I had already received a order confirmation email from your site which says

    "Thanks for ordering from Camera House.

    The details of your order are confirmed in the Order Confirmation below.

    You can track the progress of your order via Your Account, or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Customer Service Team on 13 FOTO (133 686), or [email protected]."

    while if i click the link of " Your Account" in the email, I was lead to a blank error page (members.aspx).

    anyway, i think my order was placed successfully and now I am waiting for the arrival of this camera (which will be a birthday present for my 9 year boy). If possible can you please check my order again to make sure everything is alright? my first name in the order is Robert and the delivery postcode is 2207.

    You should have received a folded brochure with a big red rosette saying 'better pictures guaranteed'. This contains all the various forms and info except the guarantee.

    Claiming prints: take the voucher to your nearest CameraHouse store along with a card/disk of the prints (data) required. The voucher has a box for each month down the RH side, this gets punched when you redeem the monthly prints.

    VIP: Fill in the form in the pack, last page headed 'VIP Application Form. Punch out the card from the lower section and retain this as your VIP Card. Send off the completed form (minus the card)back to CameraHouse head office, see your tax invoice for PO Box etc.

    Camera Registration: fill in the Agfa warranty card and send it off.
