AirAsia Gold Coast/Perth/Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur for $199!

I found the following flights available for $199 each way between Gold Coast and KL:
Gold Coast to Kuala Lumpur: April 23,25,26,28, May 5,7,9,10,12,14,19,23,28
Kuala Lumpur to Gold Coast: May 10,11,20,31, June 1
There were other dates available however they were $199 one way, with no hope of a corresponding return flight within the next 14 days.
I've actually got one of these $199 tickets KL —> Perth. Never flown AirAsia before, or any cutprice airline for that matter, let's hope it's not as traumatic as the stories I'm hearing :P
Airasia have excellent customer service and serve fantastic meals. Its worthwhile paying for the comfort kit also (around $7 for a blanket, eye mask and neck pillow).
There are likely to be a lot of empty seats going AU => KL, but when you return its recommended you upgrade seats… as its a long flight back on a crowded plane in economy!
For some reason, I'm getting "Fares shown DO NOT include taxes and fees" for all my searches. I can't seem to find the $199 flights that's inclusive of taxes and fees?

Look for the inital $17 or $61 fare if going from Melbourne. It should differ if you fly out from elsewhere
Why is there no flights from sydney :(
Thats like tiger airways with no sydney routes
Sydney airport is too full, so the landing/takeoff fees are very high.
This makes it difficult for discount airlines to make it profitable to fly in/out of sydney.
That's why there's no tiger/air-asia in syd, even though it's closer to south-east asia than melbourne is.
I see it's updated on airasia website, but probably only one way sale.
