Not valid in NT or TAS

    MEH.

  • I think these tickets IMAX at least need $7 surcharge for full-length normal movie, and additional $3 for 3D.

…and now we get to the terms and conditions, and what they always means when it comes to movie tickets:

VOUCHER IS NOT YOUR MOVIE TICKETS - hard copy movie tickets will be delivered to you in the post

You will get the tickets in 2-3 weeks. Maybe.

Surcharge for IMAX and 3D over one hour

Which movie doesn't go for at least an hour?

    Cannot book in advance

Cannot attend any new movies (unless you queue for a couple of hours)

    Subject to availability

You may never get your tickets. You may never get a refund. You may never hear back from Groupon ever again.

it cannot be exchanged for a ticket to a session designated by the cinema to be a "special event screening"

You suck. You are not a VIP - you are a nobody. Shut up and attend a regular session in a tiny crowded cinema full of talking children.

The cinema may charge the user of this voucher a premium for any additional service or premium offered that is in excess of the value of a "standard adult ticket". This may include but is not limited to: a surcharge for premium VIP ticketing options or a surcharge for provision of 3D.

VMAX? Screw you. Want to watch a new movie? Screw you - because they are only shown in VMAX sessions.

cannot be resold without the prior written consent of Cinema Savers.

You're doomed to watch a shitty movie in a shitty cinema hall, or foot the bill.

    • Nice translation of the T&C! Now, if you can compile a "An Australian Dictionary of T&C and Fine Print", you can save us lots of wallet-aches…

    • Movies made specifically for IMAX only go for 45 minutes, thus you have to pay extra for movies made for IMAX that are in #D or go over an hour. And new movies aren't just shown in VMAX and it doesn't take hours to queue. If you don't like the state of cinemas don't buy the tickets…
