Not a bad deal especially when paired with the Steam US$40 cash back offer. VRM are surprisingly good as well according to LTT list:

Thanks, sorry I missed that.
Has no VRM heatsinks, so wouldnt recommend anything above a 5600x with a downdraft cooler

I can't find it in the list?
This mATX MSI B550M A-Pro F tier on that list, which makes sense cause it is junk
The OP confused it for the similarly named A Tier ATX board, MSI B550 A-Pro, which is pretty much a B450 Tomahawk with a B550 chipset
Stupid naming having two products with totally different specs with the same name apart from one lower case "m" implying the only diff is the ATX vs mATX sizing.
That's the B450.
Ah, so it is.
Still, it has two dimm slots and no VRM heatsink - it's trash tier and can't be thought of as a mATX version of the actually decent B550 A-Pro
looks like only the B550-A PRO not the B550M-A Pro get the $40 steam card
How is this a good VRM?
This would be equitant to "B450M Pro-M2 V2" in terms of VRM. It looks like exactly 1x SM4337 2x SM4503

Crap sorry guys, I got B550-A Pro and B550M-A pro mixed up!
Still its on sale and its cheaper then anywhere else….
Ineligible for the promotion and has a budget VRM.This should be a far better board for $9 more https://www.centrecom.com.au/msi-b450m-mortar-max-amd-mother…
This is a good board as I have one and running well paired with my 5600X. I purchase it for $79 delivered via a promo posted here a month ago. So maybe wait a little more and the price may reduce to the same price I paid for.
Just bought the a520m MSI the other day. Weird how the a520 had a Display Port and this one doesn't.
can anyone advise whats the most suitable chipset if you wanna run a 5600g cpu?
just buy a b550 board that is good at memory overclocking along with some ballistix memory or b die to oc.
