  • Not bad at all. Add 3x and it's $14 each with code GE30

Just saw this myself….bought 3 although I don't need any!…A shame none of the other pedals are the same price…something to give away maybe!

      • I also ended up buying three—because if the power supplies are decent, three delay pedals plus three 9V AC adapters for $42 delivered seems almost criminal.

More rational punters who just want to order one though, note that I did a mock order for one using the 20% off code 'SD20', and that took 20% off the $20. Of course I then tried to stack the two codes to get an additional 20% off the already discounted price for three, and no dice there (sadly) … but yeah, if you're only ordering one it looks like you can use the SD20 code to get it for $16.

May I ask, can someone who has any 'Donner' pedal of any kind, what is the build quality and the sound output quality of the pedal like? Also, what is the build quality of the AC adapter like, assuming that your pedal/s came with one?

        Cheers

Whats the reason for getting three peddles if i may ask?

          • @Jenny Death: JD:

I am friends with lots of musos (mostly guitarists and singers), so plenty of peeps will be into these. l also like hosting 'jam nights' at my place now and then (not lately though in these COVID times, sadly), and in such situations it's often useful to have more than one delay pedal on hand. As I said above, the three AC adapters are also a big part of this deal (for me at least) at this price … assuming that they're of decent quality/build.

            • @GnarlyKnuckles: I don't believe any power supplies are included - you are just getting the pedal itself. I think the listing is saying you will need a 9v power suppy (centre negative) to power this pedal (it is too small to house a 9v battery otherwise)

              • @zhanggg: Hmmm. If they don't come with a 9V power supply, I reckon this part of their advertisement is highly misleading:

                'Features
1.Power Supply:9V DC (Negative in the center).'

I think this for two reasons. One is that the other eight things in that list (items #2 to #9) describe things that it has/'comes with'; not things that it needs. The other reason is that if they are selling this thing with no power supply (i.e. it is delivered to the buyer in an unusable state), then they should have included their entry 'Power Supply:9V DC (Negative in the center)' in the list of Specifications that is immediately after the Features list; not at the top of a long list of things that the unit actually comes with.

At the very least, they should have inserted '(not included)' after the entry in the list that appears to state that the unit 'features' a 9V power supply.

                • @GnarlyKnuckles: items #2-#5 describe a different kind of pedal…

I have a chorus from the previous 9.99 deal. it's not too bad. small, simple and workable. I'm not a pro guitar who's into the science of tone but I liked the way it sounds and doesn't take a lot of space from my board.

        • I have a few of their pedals. Build quality & function is ok. Check your credit card account as they get overcharged than the advertised price by few cents or a dollar.

          • @rize2love: Thanks for the heads-up rize-meister. At this price, if it's $1 or less out I'll let it slide. If it is out by any more that though, it becomes a matter of principle …

            • @GnarlyKnuckles: Cheers mate! Forgot to mention, most of the pedals advertised here used were $9.99 each a month or two ago

              • @rize2love: Do you mean there was another sale about a month ago that featured 'most' of the pedals they are currently selling, for just $10 each, with free postage? Did those also come with a 9V AC adapter?

Man, I wish mobs/products like this were around when I was a kid. Back then I had to save up for weeks (sometimes months) to buy the only 'real'/decent brand of pedal that was available in Australia/was any good; 'BOSS'. From memory I didn't used to get much change from $100 regardless of the type of pedal I was buying. I could never fault the quality (and durability) of BOSS pedals though, at least. I'm interested to see what the quality of these kebab pedals is like …

          • @rize2love: Picked up a boss tuner pedal a while back which has 9v power out and a daisy chain for 5 pedals. Glad I never sold it.

  • BowWow pedal?

  • Had to read the full title, initially thought it was something kebab related and got excited, the picture looked like spit motor.

    • just go buy a kebab. your blood sugar levels are low

  • Is the power adapter included?

    • +1

no. A 3-way or 5-way adaptor to support multiple pedals is under $20 on ebay.

  • A reverb and chorus at $30 too.

This seller has had some bad issues, but my past order of effects pedals came as described.

    • Erm … you're into effects pedals MaKeggs? I'm impressed! May I ask what sort of music you play/what you use them for? Guitar I presume … or maybe vocals?

      • I’m the world’s worst hack guitarist, but I have a son who is pretty good.

        • I picked up a chorus, wah and octaver to add to my mooer pedals. Looking forward to making some fun loops

  • "Power Supply:9V DC (Negative in the center)."
This negative to the centre is quite unusual but you can get a power supply with replaceable/reconfigurable tips.

    • +2

Dedicated pedal power supplies will/should be centre-negative, so this shouldn't be a problem if you are searching for something specifically made for guitar pedals

    • +1

This is the norm for Boss-type (and most other) effects pedals
