that's cheaper then just my vitamix cup without a blender.

I tried another portable blender (Blendjet 2) and the power is not enough and capacity too small, despite the hype and claims.

Costco don't quote the power for this one, only RPM.

At least returns should be okay.

      • Thanks - 70W, that's really really low power.

    • I suppose portable blenders are really for non-ice, non frozen, quite watery drinks. Or for mixing protein powder on the go.

      • Yeah, I couldn't do ice or frozen berries in mine without it locking up.

Is there a big use case for blending "on the go"?

Why not blend and put in a vacuum bottle or flask? Then you don't have to carry the blender with you.

        • I think it’s more a gimmick to be as ‘fresh’ as possible. Or use in an office.

It’s not like portable devices can’t get powerful though, just get an adapter and strap the head to any 18W impact driver. It’ll (profanity) up any ice cubes you put in there, and possibly wring your hand off.
