Has anyone had anything shipped to them from Aramex recently? Particularly NSW to VIC via express shipping? Mine has been stuck in a Melbourne depot for about 5 days now.
I know there are a lot of delays with the immense volume of packages, but I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate based off when theirs arrived?
Unfortunately, I didn't get a choice. But oh well.
I would have picked AusPost 364 days of the year. Perhaps I should walk there and break into the depot.
funnily enough, i got a parcel stuck at an aramax (formerly fastway) depot for two weeks, so I decided to just rock up at the depot and pick it up myself.
Did they actually allow you to do that? I am totally considering it.
@Javascripter1: The thing I've noticed with Fastway/Aramex is they get the parcels interstate next day in most cases. The problem is the drivers have way too many parcels to deliver so it could be sitting at the depot or in their van for weeks before they deliver it.
@yippy: That seemed to be the case with me as well. It arrive from NSW to VIC within around 3 days. But had been stuck in depot for 7 days now.
@Javascripter1: yeah. they asked for a description of the package, which I didn't really know what it looked like, but I guess based on the item I bought, and they got someone to find the package. took about 10-15 minutes.

Took 10 calendar days to send something from Sydney to Melbourne so it's not that bad. Sent something down to Vic via AusPost and it's a similar timeframe.
Cheers. How recent was this? Volume has gotten really high over the past couple of weeks.

Not aramex but Sydney to Melbourne via auspost non express- smallish parcels
Last fortnight 10 parcels, 9 delivered under a week. 10th is 9 buisness days and counting.
I think it’s luck of the draw.
Two parcels Syd to Syd over a month each, and still waiting. Useless call centre as they can only "email" the depot. Incompetent to say the least.
Waited 3weeks for a parcel from Sydney, tracking just said "processing at sorting facility". I contacted their support and they said they hadn't even received the parcel, just the consignment details. It came the next day
Bought a ladder in August and the shipping was Melbourne to Melbourne (40 min drive), it took 5 weeks to arrive. There customer service is terrible!
Aramex, you should of ordered a Donkey, would of been faster.
Just have patience, it will come.
