Short game, but I thought it was enjoyable. Really immersive!

Best to wear headphones too for a better experience.

Played it on PC, a decent game. Some puzzles were a bit meh, just looking for the runes wasn't fun but overall it was great.
Recently got a VR set. Might start another playthrough but in VR this time

  • not being compatible with PS5 killed it for me. Thanks for the heads up.

      Worked for me!

      • Will buy. If it doesn't work I'll just watch a YouTube video on it. Thanks.

        • For consoles it generally works or it doesn’t. There aren’t any fixes like PC. But if it’s sold on the PS5 store then it will work

Can confirm this works on PS5. I was playing it last week and ran fine. I already owned it from when I had a PS4.

Man where’s the switch version for this price

It is a pretty different game and very high-quality immersion. Definitely worth the $8 for it. It may work on PS5, but Sony pulled a whole bunch of backwards-compatible games from PS5 store recently probably to prevent an influx of people requesting refunds for faulty games in case issues arise. Some people have completed it on PS5 successfully but YMMV.

  • I'm not sure about buying this because the sequel won't be available on PS4/5.

just get it and save your sanity…..literally what the game is about

    • +4

It's a great game that doesn't really need a sequel, story felt complete as it is.

      • +3

        Most games don’t need a sequel…

        • +2

No, but some have obvious hooks for them and would feel less "finished" without them.

Incoming crazy theory: Senua's design was partly inspired off of Naruko from Ninja Theory's Heavenly Sword franchise and is linked to Aloy's look in Horizon: Zero Dawn.

The sequel to Heavenly Sword was to be developed by SCE Cambridge. HS2 was scrapped, but SCE Cambridge became Guerrilla Cambridge, eventually Guerilla Games who of course went on to develop Horizon: Zero Dawn - a game featuring another red-headed heroine. Around the same time Ninja Theory launched Senua's Sacrifice.

    All red-headed girls. Coincidence?

  • I don’t own a ps5 but are you saying if you buy the digital PS4 version, then you can still play it on ps5 after downloading from store?
