This Ninja kit hasn't been below $100 for a while and has been hard to find during the pandemic.

3 Camels shows it's a significant price drop to the lows over the last year; one (non-slackers) product at a similar price, not including shipping; nothing else close to in price.

Decent gear for the price. Has helped convert my Growplay Monkey Bars to a full blown Ninja training centre.

Along with a Lyra, Silks, Nest Swing, Yoga Hammock, Golf Ball Handgrips, Long Handgrips, Steering Wheel Obstacle, Flying Fox, Chin-up Bar and about 100kgs of extra 40NB Galvanised pipe and tube clamps…

Lockdown would have been a lot more restrictive without it. Kids seem to like it too…

Note that the two wooden trapeze don't like being left out in the weather, but everything else has held up well.

    • How does the slack line attach on the ends? I’ve got some funkymonkey bars and considering this

It's got a ratchet system that needs to be secured around a solid object - in my case, a tree at one end and one of the more sturdy end pieces of my monkey bars at the other.

In truth, we only use the slack line for balancing challenges - all of the obstacles have been suspended around different parts of my roided up monkey bar set…

        • Upvote for "roided up monkey"! Lol

  • I have one of these, bought during the first pandemic. A lot of excitement setting it up followed by disappointment at how long it takes to setup and clip everything together! Also, make sure you have two big solid trees at least 5m or so apart, and ideally a rope ladder to access it. It has to be very high off the ground so the kids don't drag their feet on the dirt as they go along.

We just ended up using it as a conventional slackline (e.g. standing on it). My advice would be to save your money and just buy a slackline without the accessories to hang onto. Kids <10yo probably won't be able to grip most of them anyway

    • The kmart slackline is pretty decent. Agree not that great for kids under 10 except for balancing.

  • These are pretty awesome actually. Yes a little fiddly to set up but heaps of fun of you expand the extra bits. Our kids love them and an essential to a camping trip for us.

  • Kmart looks good. Damn. I just paid $65 on Ebay for a slackline with second, thinner overhead training line - could have just bought 2 of the kmart. Mine is 18M v 15M though.

    • Out of curiosity, why do you need the overhead line?

      • One to walk on, another to hold onto…

        • That defeats the purpose of learning to walk a slackline and makes it harder to learn to balance.

          • @ihbh: Not really. It's aimed at young children who often don't have enough interest to repeat when they fail multiple times. A training line allows them to gain confidence, knowing they can grab hold of it when losing balance. It's not an army training system lol.

  • For those still interested in the Ninjaline, there are still 3 units available on Amazon for $95.20.
