Was looking for a new monitor and found this which I thought was a pretty good buy. Says $50 off on the computeraliance website but it is $29 cheaper than the next best on staticice (http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=ml229h&spos=1) so is a great buy for an IPS monitor for people in Brisbane for pickup. Also has a 3 year warranty on the panel though I'm not sure on what the pixel policy is.

OK, for those able to pick-up the box at their store.
The rest need to pay upwards of $25 to ship it…
wiping out most of the price difference. And, it can be a very long truck trip from Qld to customer
(with all the risk of bumps, drops, etc. that go with it).Otherwise, it looks OK.
Compare to:
LG IPS226V-PN: 35 Watts usage @ MSY: $159
ASUS plus S+H, to Adel. (= $149 + $25) = $174
Samsung 21.5" LED LS22A350HS - DSE: $199
w/ 23 Watts power consumption
I take your point but then if we go by that logic, then all those deals from nsw and vic shops shouldn't be posted as the $80 plus in shipping that I often get quoted for delivery would make them more expensive than local purchase.
Thought the shipping was going to be pricey, when i looked earlier. Couldn't be bothered to
join up to find out . Grrrrr, i hate that.Theres 2 DELL Ultrasharp U2212H 21.5"W HD Monitor on the dell outlet thats been sitting for about a week. Brand new units not refurbs. $150 delivered
I think the 22's are real 8 bit IPS, not 6 bit eIPS.
I doubt it for the price. Since the 8bit ones start at ~$500 which is the u2410.
I'll take my 22" HP MPVA monitor anyday, even though it cost me $800.
I want PA246Q!
