Games publisher Focus Home Interactive has a Celebration Sale (Sept 24th to Oct 7th) on their online store - including a promotion where they are giving away 1 Steam key for the standard edition of The Surge for free, with any purchase made with a logged-in Focus Entertainment user account on the store, until October 4th.

• The cheapest purchaseable item on the store sale list that I can see, is the -33% discounted DLC The Surge - CREO Special Employee Kit - ~A$0.91
• There are other discounted games and DLCs on the sale list that may be worth checking out, e.g. GreedFall - Gold Edition is ~A$24.56 in store, whereas it is currently A$49.95 on Steam
• Currently, the Steam store listing for The Surge is at full price - A$19.95

  40 minutes since I purchased and still nothing even shows up in my order history, yet I have the email from Paypal confirming payment and the order number.

  Edit - No sooner had I posted than it all then finally appeared in order history and I could claim the keys. Still, 40 minutes is a long time just to get confirmation in your account on their site.

    It's already listed above. It's not a game but DLC for The Surge which happens to be the cheapest thing for purchase that qualifies for the freebie.

    I did not care for it at all, although I understand the sequel is quite good as a sci-fi Soulslike.

  Note that MOST games are not steam keys, if it matters to you.

  I presume also that all prices are in USD.

  Lastly, the Gold edition of the surge is worth $8.50USD on their store. The DLC is probably not worth buying separately on steam due to price (2 @ $6.99ea, plus one junk one at $1.99).. which is kind of irritating.

  I add "The Surge - creo special employee kit" in my shopping cart but "The Surge" does not appear in the shopping cart, did those who bought it work out the same? yesterday I had "The Surge" added to my shopping cart when I was going to buy "The Surge - creo special employee kit", not today

  Definitely in USD, paid by card and received keys in under a minute.

  I bought 'Seasons After Fall' for USD$1.90 after a 5% discount for establishing a profile. All-in-all AUD$2.65, and both games were activated in Steam.
