I was after this headset as a wireless replacement for myself, looks to be well reviewed.

I got mine literally a week ago for $285 from JB (used a rewards site for a discount gift card).
Not a fan TBH. I have a 7 year old Kraken Tournament edition and I preferred it.This being said I find that the sound is more echoie and lower quality sound compared the old headset and think it's because I am used to a wired, open back headset.
The software is a bit meh (no proper EQ control).Aside from that these are perfectly fine. Lag is practically non-existent and the mic is pretty solid.
Do they have lags like normal Bluetooth earphones?
It's a 2.4 GHz connection via a USB dongle, not Bluetooth. No lag.
This or the Steelseries Arctis 7?
Going by previous comments the mic on these aren’t that great?
My kid has the first edition wireless and not impressed. Sure I have a Astro A50 but buying him the arctis 7 for his bday. Looks nice
just got Steelseries Arctis 7 and love it
I have these and the mic is great from what I can tell. Everyone can hear me well on discord/in game. No complaints about the mic at all.
How do these compare to the cloud flight S wireless?
Nothing about this headset that sees it stand out from the rest that have been sold over the last few years. Like those, you don't want to be paying more than $120-$150.
If you're already up in this price bracket, reach further for the Audeze Penrose.
That marketing in Free Guy is paying for itself.
I got these and love them.
Good:
No lag.
Mike quality is great.
It has a red led in the mike for when it's muted so you don't get confused(Previous headset had a mute toggle and I would forget i switched it and would go looking for mike settings in various places. So appreciate this option.
Bad:
The cons are that it turns off after 20 minutes of silence or something. I just sit in front of my pc and wish it didn't do that.
There is very quiet noise when there is no signal I've gotten used to it but it was annoying to start with. The first two annoyed me in the beginning, but these really shine in game. just absolutely perfect while you are gaming
I purchased this headset earlier this year and it's fantastic.
This is the video that pushed me toward it. Although it is 6 months later now and there might be closer competition.
