  hmm $1971 for the Sony KDL55HX820 seems pretty ordinary - JB also offering free shipping for $1996 so for an extra 25 bux you can deal with a major retailer…easily worth the peace of mind for me and just in case something was up with the tv (eg. dead pixels) - not to mention JBs usual willingness to either price match or knock off 5-10% the ticketed price…

    as for dead pixel i think it is a standard policy through out the whole industry and maybe a little different with each manufacturer.

  Wow good price on the Sony 55HX820, I bought this a year ago for $3100. This is the best LED TV you can get, very vivid and crystal clear pictures. I did compare this side by side with the Samsung C:257668, the Sony gives better pictures then the over saturated color on the Samsung UA55D7000. So I bought the Sony instead.

    i got one to, but i paid $2800 with redemption PS3, awesome tv, so many features and great picture, can't recommend it enough
