Imagine buying Nestle in 2021 🤢🤮

I had to google "why is nestle hated"

Child labor, unethical promotion, manipulating uneducated mothers, pollution, price fixing and mislabeling

      Then I realised I really don't care - $6 for >1kg of sweetened condensed milk - brilliant!

Woolies has an equivalent product for $1.60 regular price.

Lol, you do know that Colesworth and Aldi sell their respective brands for $1.60 ea everyday, right? And it's not like brand changes anything when it comes to sweetened condensed milk.

It might sound odd, but I dont actually live in a city. It's over 2 hour return trip for me to find a woolies, coles or aldi.

Amazon on the other hand will deliver for nothing.

People on this site have no ethics but I'm with you 100%

    • I stopped buying any Nestle for years now. Ethics aside, their products are often overpriced.

  • Oos now

I like eating this stuff out of the tube haha

Idk where you're getting your condensed milk from…

      • +5

Lol you and I got negged such losers we have in this forum right, get negged even if you say something good or funny ,anyway I don’t buy the tin cos I like to eat out of the tube and it’s easy to add to my tea sometimes. It’s not a regular purchase for me and I’m not getting my milk from where you think I am getting haha

I use a honey bottle like this as a dispenser for condensend milk.
It's not only much cheaper to refill, but also much better for dispensing than tubes. The condensed milk also lasts a long time when stored this way.

@Freezies: Yes, refilling condensed milk to a squeeze bottle is the best way to dispense it. I’m using this bottle, they often goes half price and it fit 1 tin of condensed milk exactly.
Very easy to fill because the opening is wide, easy to squeeze too.

@dlovep: haha be careful of your comments salties will come after you, lock down is driving them crazy.

            • @[Deactivated]: you keep it in the fridge right? how long do you think it can be kept like that?

              • +1

                @sammyla: Few months

            • +1

@[Deactivated]: I used to use a generic squeeze bottle but the Capilano honey bottle is a worlds better as it's designed specifically for the honey/condensed milk consistency. It has a valve rather than a generic nozzle made from a soft silicone that gives you full control as it only dispenses when you squeeze and cuts the flow off completely when you stop. There's no dripping or leaking even when holding it upside down. This airtight seal and refridgeration keeps it good for months when I'd only get 2-3 weeks in the other bottles.
