For those who missed out on previous deal. Don't know if the heat sink will be a bit bulky for ps5. Not the best deal so far, but cheaper than elsewhere.

Looks like a bus lmfao
I thought Steam Train lol
It's the Thomas and Friends - Diesel edition.
At first glance, I thought it was a train or train trailer
That looks huge, no way it will fit ps5 from just eyeballing it!
That heatsink is insane. I thought they were ram sticks at first
Whoever designed this over at PNY evidently worked at Ventura Buses previously… Will I need to top-up my Myki in order to use this?
This would be the cheapest 2tb drive so far that would work in PS 5 with that monster of a cooler changed out for something normal sized.
Nah the exact same drive minus the heatsink was $300 just last month. Maybe cheapest right now but definitely not "so far".
OP already mentioned:
For those who missed out on previous deal
PNY CS3040 M.2 NVMe Gen4 SSD 2TB deal ~ $315
Most OBers who got that deal for PS5 would have installed the SSD onto the PS5.
Nope. This is: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/650964
$370, comes with heatsink and runs (actual benchmarks) at 5600 which is well within the "recommended" specs.
This is? Or was? Please read the description before blurting out. I posted this for those who missed out on my previous pny deal and the above mentioned deal.
Ok, "was". These sales occur regularly so I'd say the Aorus is still better bang for buck when on sale, especially considering the heatsink comes included and already installed.
@animasoIa: Both are glue and go type SSD. Nothing to write home about. More people managed to get the PNY deal (compared to 5 or 6 sold last time for the deal you mentioned, based on eBay purchase history). Yes, $40 difference (after getting the heatsink) may not be worth the trouble for some people. However, in this case, given how long it took Sony to release the firmware to us, both the SSD and heatsink had been sitting idle for weeks (for me and a lot of people).
There were also people who bought the PNY last time for PCs. Those people don't need to buy separate heatsinks.
And yes I have installed the pny 3040 and ps5 confirmed 5600 speed.
Never mind ;)
Dat heatsink……
