i think this is delicious good find.
The best of the 12y core range
No, I think Glendronach 12 is superior.
Huh?
Glendronach != Macallan core range
Ah, I misunderstood. Haha 😁
what's the story here? "Sadly, this offering is being replaced by the Macallan 1824 series so stock up with this classic jewel before stocks are depleted."
This is news to me… Sherry 12 might be discontinued in the EU. But I thought it was the 1824 series that got dumped…
are these actually being discontinued?
Not here in Aus
I am assuming it eventually comes into play or not really?
@Jackpot518: I don't think so. Different releases for different regions.
I had a mac tasting with the AU rep and there was no mention of Sherry 12 being deleted
@kickling: What is your rating on this whiskey taste?
@Jackpot518: It's good. I'd give it a 7/10. It is too expensive for what you get though.
If it was higher than 40% it would bring out the flavours more.
I'm happy to own it and try it, but I won't be replacing

this or glemora nectar or GlenDronach 12? i have sweet tooth
Try them all.
Glenmo Nectar or Quinta
Glen is better than the Mac. Nectar is lovely but different.
I am bias towards Gelndronach
GD12 is ok in terms of the sub $100 sherry world.
But when considering sweetness, I think there's others that trump it
Just need the dollars
Can anyone give me feedback on ordering from Boozebud?
100% strike rate for me both via their website and ebay
Ugh I will get in contact with them as I bought two bottles which should be $190 and not $195, as I also had $5 off.
Wow 144 bottles sold just today.
we're all thirsty.
Sherry oak is definitely an acquired taste
