Really? These guys are straight up legends.

You can't get these sorts of prices on these coffee rosters anywhere else. Even at the rosters!

Plus the service (delivery is lightning quick, plus they're offering free express postage, and they are always on hand to offer guidance) is always first class. Oh and the roast dates are always really fresh.

Anyway, if you're a coffee drinker and looking for a good deal, just my two cents, but give them a thought at least 😊

(The website is easy to use, and posts are only weekly, give or take?).

      • Which one can you recommend? (so I can research one example a bit more)

        • As in a specific coffee for flavour? I'm currently using Proud Mary Humbler, and Code Black Ex-Wife. I think Humbler is a great all rounder milk coffee choice. Ex-Wife is a little stronger and I use it more for espresso.

If you're talking cost these bags as a 2x bundle are $1-$2 cheaper than their websites but that's not taking into account their postage, as Direct Coffee is free.

        • Code Black 3056 is also excellent

Pretty sure my orders have been hand delivered a couple of times on the Sunday (postage is often sent out on a Friday) as I happen to live close to DC.

      • I placed my first order with these guys recently, usually I go the cheap 1kg bags that pop up on here but treated myself, it's not like it's much more (~$45 instead of the ~$35 shipped I usually spend).

They'd run out of stock on one of the 4 bags I ordered so they hand delivered my order, were super apologetic about it being out of stock, gave me a similar bag to what I missed in my order (it was one espresso blend for another, makes sense), threw in an extra bag of something they thought I'd like based on what I ordered and offered to organise sending me the bag I missed as soon as possible (I declined, it'll take me a while to get through 1.25kg of coffee as it is and they'd done enough). Despite my order going "wrong", I felt like I'd actually come out of it better than what I wanted.

As far as customer service goes, absolutely nailed it. Plus it was very fresh and I get a good bit of variety, which is nice when stuck in this covid nightmare we're all in (it's the little things that make life better), it's nice that I can buy from 3 different brands and get very fresh coffee from all three in one hit.

    • I saved $2 + postage costs ordering 2x250g bags of beans from Direct Coffee (compared to ordering direct from roaster - I would've needed to order at least $50 worth for free shipping from them).

Order arrived at my door 1 day after they said they were going to dispatch. Roast date on beans was 2 days after I received them.

Not sure how much more you could ask for… nothing but thumbs up from me

      • Roast date on beans was 2 days after I received them

        That is impressive!

        • Haha whoops - I mean two days prior to me receiving. I received my beans on 15SEP, roast date on beans was 13SEP. Thanks, I'll edit my post

          • @zhanggg:

            …I'll edit my post

            I don't think you will.

            • @muwu: Oh, I didn't know you weren't able to edit comments after someone has replied. You learn something new every day. Well hopefully my reply clarifies for anyone else reading

      Hey there,

Always open to feedback, especially on post structure - do you have any suggestions?

In terms of coffee prices though, I think it's really important for that to be an apples and apples comparison. So I'd be curious to know who you're comparing us to?

I'm sorry if you feel it's spamming, but based on feedback it does appear that a lot of folks in the community appreciate it. In all honesty, I wouldn't do it if there wasn't demand.

Always here to answer any coffee questions you might have :)

      • The post structure is great.

  • Hey team, as always love your work - thank you!

Quick question. I have never tried God's Honest Truth (although as it turns out I live pretty close).

What's the feedback? Maybe specifically on the My Dog? My recent orders with you have been Humbler and Ex-Wife. I generally make milk coffees, but also enjoy the occasional espresso.

Appreciate any wisdom you can offer! 😊

    Cheers

I tried Mu Dog and Kenny G and thought they were average so would lean towards Axil here. Just my opinion though.

      • Thanks for the thoughts! I do enjoy Axil, always a solid choice. Cheers!

        • Mu Dog is a simpler blend that Humbler and Ex Wife. I'd personally say it's more on par with Karma or Marimbus - mellow and inoffensive.

      • Interesting, I would have said they were on par with AXIL with Kenny G perhaps being a touch more interesting.

        Appreciate the feedback though!

    • Also thanks for the love :)

      • Pleasure 😊 I'll be putting in another order this weekend, I'm getting dangerously low. Can't have that! Thanks for your response, and keep up the great work!

        • Sounds good!
