1 September 2021

*Sign up for a Zip Pay (“Zip Account”) and spend $50 AUD or more on your first transaction at Woolworths, Coles, IGA, Aldi or Harris Farm (“Participating Retailers”) using your Zip Account to get $10 AUD credit back to your Zip Account (“Offer”). This Offer is only available between 12:01AM (AEST) Wednesday 8 September 2021 and 11:59PM (AEST) Tuesday 14 September 2021 (“Offer Period”).

To be eligible to receive this offer you must, during the Offer Period:

  • Sign up for a Zip Account during the Offer Period;
  • Spend $50 AUD or more on your first transaction at a Participating Retailer using the Single-Use Card or Tap & Zip functionality on your Zip Account. (“Eligible Purchase”).
  • The credit back is capped at a maximum of $10 AUD per Customer (i.e. you can only redeem this Offer once).

The $10 AUD credit back will be applied to the Zip Account from which the Eligible Purchase was made within 21 days of the purchase being processed. The credit back shall appear as a transaction on your applicable Zip statement with the following description; ‘Zip Grocery Credit Back’.

This Offer is subject to your Zip Account (used to participate in the Offer) remaining open and being kept in good standing for the duration of the Offer Period and until the credit back amount is applied to your Zip Account. Any credit back amount applied to your Zip Account will result in a reduction of the amount you owe to Zip. You will not be able to withdraw the credit back from your Zip Account or convert to cash, any credit back on your Zip Account can only be used via your Zip Account.
Your participation in the promotion must be made in accordance with these terms and conditions, your Zip Account terms and conditions, and (where applicable) the Single-Use Card Terms and Conditions and/or the Tap & Zip Terms and Conditions. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers. No promo code is required to claim this Offer and this Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.

Should any transaction be cancelled, refunded, or varied in any manner the credit back will be adjusted in accordance with the cancellation, refund, or variation. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any non-excludable right or remedy you have under law including the Australian Consumer Law.       Zip is the best of all the BNPL companies IMO. Lots of promotions and good, responsive customer support. LatitudePay is awful, i'll never use them again.

        Zip is good. Their customer service is based in Australia, not like Afterpay, their customer service is in Manila. It's a nightmare to have to contact them as they don't care. Deleted my Afterpay account

          Yeah I can totally relate to the Afterpay support, i.e. it being total crap. unsure about ZIP though never used it, waiting for a bigger signup incentive, (i.e. so it can offset any possible credit checks)

            @USER DC: zip support has been great and prompt everytime. I've contacted them twice in the past month to close the account and reopen which they got back to me same day for the close and next day for the reopen and all resolved within 2-3 days.

        Not really, normal people dont buy groceries on timing set up BNPL services, they buy groceries when they need/want to. So not using this promo is in no way reflection of people cannot afford $50 groceries.

          I mean when a credit check is done upon your credit history it will show you put groceries on Zip pay. Thus negatively affecting your score.

            Avoiding small, short-term loans including Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL)

            Surprisingly enough getting a credit card might increase low credit scores too

            Applying for credit with larger banks and more reputable lenders

            I assume all top 6 Aussie big banks, and like AmEx to be larger and reputable lenders

    Have just gotten approved for CBA CC deal- $200 Cashback with $1000 spend, may be not the best idea to signup to Zip pay now ? only to get denied on their Credit Check.

    The virtual card can also be used at more online retailers now. So if you are shopping with Woolworths or Coles online the transaction will get through.

    AND BTW what's the point of this deal ? 1 DAY remaining must have completed it by 14th. So technically not possible- can be denied Credit check or something else.

    I signed up to Zip when they had 'super saturdays' last year which offfered a decent cashback. Since then I've been quite disappointed with offers, nothing compared to Afterpay who have quite a few promotions.

    Zip actually has the buyer protection so you can dispute if something’s wrong with the purchase (just like Paypal). Also there’s the one-time use card for trials or promos requiring new card details.
