  • How many apples per board?

Worth it over el cheapo shelving units?

    Formalehyde particle boards~

    • Thanks for your reply.

Apple Shelving is our company name. (: You can put any items you like on the shelvings.

    • How many apples per board?

I can place both an iphone and ipad on it at the same time…

  • What are the actual shelving panels made of? Or is the entire thing made of metal? if yes that sounds very good and this might be exactly what I need.

I don't like particle board shelving because of the susceptibility to moisture and I don't love the mesh shelving as you can't always just slide heavy things across it easily.

Yes, it is the steel panel and the entire thing is made of steel.
We understand your concern about the material, and I can promise that our high-quality product always gets 100% satisfaction.(:

      • Actually being fully made of steel is a selling point of these shelves, compared to the ones sold in Bunnings etc …

        • Looks like a deal

as long as assembly is not as precarious as the cheapo ones ($60–$90 5-particle board shelving rack unit ~ 2m x 1.5m)

would not want huge steel frames and panels to crush unfortunate humans

Quick glance at steel shelving units go upwards of $200.

    • Sorry, we only have the black one. (:

  • need one but in nsw

  • $186.11 for shipping to my address in VIC - ouch!

    • +2

      That's shelved that purchase then.

    • Sorry to hear, we have kept shipping costs to the minimum but because the products are being dispatched from Qld to your location in regional VIC, and being a metal shelving, which has a substantial weight and size, thus costing quite a bit. Hope you can understand, thank you.

  • yep $300+ delivered to Melbourne address, there is an ebay seller based in vic with similar stuff for not much more as a cost and heaps cheaper shipping.

  • These guys are awesome, I've decked out all my sheds with them.

    • I second that. I bought about 6 shelves about a year ago for the garage. They are light enough to install and move around yourself, but are nice and sturdy as well. I went for the slightly wider ones as it was more loadbearing.

The guys delivered it up to my address and took an afternoon to install all.

      Great shelves.

      • Thanks for your order. We definitely offer the best services for our customers.(:

    • Sounds like there's a lot of guys in your sheds…. 😜

  • I bought these shelves (not from this company) for my shed.

The frame itself is not bad but the shelves themselves are flimsy sheet metal. They may be capable of holding 250kg per shelf but I personally am not game enough to test it because they certainly don't feel that they would hold that much weight.

If you're after cheap shelving to store medium weight stuff (tools, paint tins, camping gear, etc), these are decent value for money (at this price point, don't pay a cent more though). If you have the budget I'd recommend spending more on some better quality stuff.
