Keep or Sell A New RTX 3070 GPU?

Long story short, I didn't even realize I preordered a card? (Checked my email and apparently, I did add the card to my cart on April 2021 but never actually paid anything for it. I always thought you had to pay a deposit?)

So when I saw an email from PLE saying that they have an RTX3070 (EVGA GeForce XC3 ULTRA GAMING) waiting for me - I quickly picked it up from the store.

Got it for $999, is this a good price?

Haven't really paid attention to the market and was not anticipating anything since I basically gave up and forgot about getting a card for months.

  You sell it and you perpetuate the on-going problem of availability shortages and over-priced cards. Keep it and love it.

    disagree.. People who will pay will pay.. ie: number people buying cards at any price point remains unchanged just because OP attempts to sell it.
    In the event he/she does sell it, that 1 less person wanting the card at that price which may equal to one less buyer

  I don't know your personal situation, but if it was me right now, I'd probably keep it or sell it to a friend at cost.

  If you can sell for a profit, and that profit is more valuable to you than using your new card, then go for gold. Our society isnt capitalist for nothing. Get yours!
  Unless you want to sell it to me, in which case I want it dirt cheap :)
