Looks like the bonus gift card bit ends tonight, but you if you factor it into the cost, this 65" OLED essentially comes down to $2,495. Don't forget about those gift cards you've been stocking up! Not sure if there are any cashback offers on right now for JB, but I'm sure someone will kindly remind us in the comments below :)

lit
When something is turned up or popping …EG. This TV is lit.
Yeah its pretty cool tech.
Havent paid an energy bill since I bought one from the last deal
How is it compared to Sony x90j 65inch?
This doesn't have HDMI 2.1 and is 60hz, get the Sony. Also very dim compared to Sony
For real? In 2021?
You're comparing the OLED model specifically released to be as "entry level" as possible with the top Sony 4K LCD, of course it's going to have less features. If it weren't for covid shortages in the supply chain this probably would've been far cheaper.
Honestly most people would be better buying a BX if they can from last year, for that you'll get the 120hz panel, better processing and HDMI 2.1, albeit a limited version of it.
@Anthropomorphised: 90j is not the top model, there is a 95j
@mlburnian: apologies, premium. One is second from top of the range, one is the absolute bottom of the range. Steer clear in favour of another OLED, or get one of the high-end LCD models, either would serve you better.
LG has 2.1 and 120 hz
LG A1 does not, that's what you skip by going down. For many it's better to get the BX if you can find one because it'll have those features. They gutted a few extra features and put a worse processor than the (defunct) B series or the C series OLED models.
The 65inch TCL 825 would be a better TV overall and is cheaper
Im looking at the c825 atm. I heard the remote is slow and laggy though. Can you comment on your overall experience please?
Sorry don't have personal experience with it,but have a look at whirlpool and Reddit. Also it's mini led
this is the oled no one asked for. I assume lg had some teething issues in the new factory and are trying to offload the panels that didn't make the grade.
Having a bare bones oled will help with upselling
Also means that they can avoid discounting their C series as much to prevent "cannibalisation" to maximise ASP of the more premium units.
Let's hope Samsung's QD-OLED brings some good competition to this behaviour next year
I see what LG are going for but the price difference is not worth it.
from what i understand there is just no reason to buy this
This plus solar power = perpetual energy.
