  • Does the Iconic take awhile to approve the cashback? My $30 cashback from the last promo is still pending.

    • Yes. It's not instant. The estimated approval date can be seen under My Rewards

    • I just received and withdrew $120ish today from 6 transactions placed on the last deal. It may take a while, but it arrived.

    • Good call. They claim you'll get it faster too if you link your ANZ card. Presumably because they can verify it quicker.

  • Does it still apply if you use the $20 sign up voucher? How do I see the 'codes listed by cashrewards'?

    • Any code used, not listed on the CR website might result in Cashback not being approved. Codes are usually listed on the Cashback page for the business.

      • Doesn't seem like there's any codes so the answer is no?

    Naughty theiconic. After checkout it tries to launch their app. Which, as the cashrewards app warns you, invalidates cashback if it launches.

    Good thing I didn't have their app and it couldn't launch.

    I did notice the CR app top frame flickering in and out. I mean the one with the CR logo, store name and big X to exit. Anyone else notice this?

    Edit: good old CR has already sent the tracking confirmation

      Hrmm, I was completely unable to make a purchase via desktop, either via CC or paypal. The payment kept failing due to a technical error, and the page suggested I try again.

      I talked to their online chat who suggested I use the app, but I refused given the cash back conditions. After trying multiple times and multiple browsers (as per the online chat helper's suggestions), they were unable to help any further so I did not make a purchase.

      So they may indeed be trying to invalidate cash backs.

      • Use the CR app. I find its 100% reliable.

        I only met problem via CC and got the same message. ZIPPAY sometimes offers 18% cash back for iconic but I never checked out successfully. However, I never have a problem via paypal.
        I guess the item you want to buy is probably Oos and the system is unable to process.

        • Yeah I think you might be right - something weird about one of the two items in their database and processing was unable to occur.

  • Saw this in my email too and made a purchase just a while ago, received an email saying purchase successfully tracked literally like a minute after completing the purchase; quickest I've got from CR haha.

  • What does it mean by mobile site? just logging on to cash rewards on mobile browser and then on to iconic? does it matter which browser?

  • Do these deals run monthly? Planning on buying some clothes but missed out on the promo
